I wanted something I could program to have different names through the SPI interface. The Silicon Labs module allows for programming and renaming. If you have a favorite bluetooth player and buy a bunch of them and you have an iPhone then you'll have a bunch of devices with the same name. :( The iPhone doesn't allow for renaming devices.
