Robocup Junior Soccer 2018

### DESCRIPTION ( Introduce yourself and your project)

We are a team of 16 year old students participating in the Robocup Junior Soccer competition this year. In this competition, we need to build 2 robots to face off in a soccer match against an opponent team. We have no coach, so we are learning and experimenting on how to build a robot all by ourselves.

### TECHNICAL DETAILS (With project photos)

Our team uses an arduino (Teensy 3.6) to power and control the entire robot. We are also using a raspberry pi to control our camera. This year is our first year trying out a PCB, and we think that a PCB would help to reduce our error rate as compared to prototyping on a stripboard. Our PCB will help to reduce the amount of wires on our robot, making it cleaner, and from past year experience will also help to make sure there are no loose wires or wires plugged in the wrong way, in general reducing the error rate of our robot to ensure maximum performance.

Important Hardware:

Teensy 3.6

Raspberry Pi Model 3b

Pi Camera v2

Pololu High Powered Motor Driver 18v17

CMPS11 Tilt Compensated Compass

### Words to PCBWay

Our current PCB design requires 4 layers to route correctly, and that is out of our price range currently, therefore we really appreciate if we are able to get this sponsorship. This will help us out a lot as we can allocated more resources elsewhere where it will benefit our robot. Thank you so much for considering our project.
