HELL’S PARADISE
HELL’S PARADISE: FROM NIGHTMARE TO REBIRTH
What’s stopping you from building your dream? No money? No tools? No workshop?
We had none of that.
No CNC machines. No sponsors. Not even a garage.
Just a small, dark room, barely enough space to move—a bed, a table, and a single flickering lamp. That was it. That was our "workshop."
No factory. No expensive equipment. Only pain, sacrifice, and the refusal to surrender.
This isn’t just a combat robot. This is a war against excuses.
THE PAIN OF CREATION
Everything was a battle.
We had no money. No tools. No team. No one to rely on.
Everything we built came from our pockets—and those pockets were almost empty.
We weren’t just students. We were students trying to survive on money that wasn’t even enough to live for a month.
Away from our families. Away from friends.
No safety net. No one to count on.
Just a strange place, strange people, a toxic environment, negativity everywhere—and every request for help met with rejection.
We ate one meal a day just to save enough for welding.
And when even that became too much, we fasted for an entire week just to afford a single fix—only for it to break again.
The chassis? Built from an old steel bed, sliced apart and welded by hand.
The wheels? Not high-performance—just ordinary rubber, modified to fit chains.
The weapon? A heavy, hand-cut slab of steel, spinning at only 500 RPM—barely nudging opponents instead of destroying them.
Every night, we worked under the dim light of a single lamp, grinding metal, welding pieces, cutting steel with tools that barely worked.
Until everything broke.
THE BREAKING POINT
The worst night wasn’t when we ran out of money.
It was when we finally saved enough to pay for welding, believing for once that things were going right—only to watch the welds crack apart, the metal fall to pieces, and months of work collapse in front of us.
We stood there, looking at the wreck in front of us, feeling the weight of every sacrifice crash down at once.
We had given up food. Sleep. Comfort.
And for what?
This was the moment. This was the edge of quitting.
We sat in silence, staring at the broken pieces, questioning everything.
Every voice of doubt came back, screaming:
"You’re wasting your time."
"You need money for this."
"You need a factory, not a bedroom."
"Just stop. It’s impossible."
Maybe they were right.
Maybe we weren’t meant to be here.
Maybe this was where it ended.
But then we stood up.
Because quitting would mean proving them right.
And proving them right was never an option.
We refused to accept that.
And somehow, despite everything, we made it to competition.
We stood among teams with sponsors, teams with CNC-machined parts, teams with full engineering support.
And then there was us—two students, a robot made from scrap, and a dream held together with rusted bolts and blind determination.
We had no right to be there.
And yet, we fought.
And against all odds, Hell’s Paradise took second place—twice.
That wasn’t just a win in the arena. That was a victory against every excuse, every obstacle, every reason to quit.
2025: THE REBIRTH
We proved our willpower. But we needed more than willpower to truly dominate.
This year, SMHI stepped in—giving us access to a real garage, welding tools, and industry contacts for better materials.
Now, we aren’t just surviving. We are evolving.
The 500 RPM weapon? Gone. Now, we’re building a 6,000+ RPM beast, powerful enough to flip robots over.
The slow, weak motors? Replaced. We now have stronger, faster motors for better speed, torque, and control.
The fragile, improvised mounts? Reinforced. Our drive system? Rebuilt from scratch.
For the first time, we are not just making things work—we are making them powerful.
This is the year Hell’s Paradise will enter the arena with more than just survival in mind.
This is the year we stop fighting for second place.
NO FACTORY? NO PROBLEM. NO EXCUSES.
People say, I don’t have money. I don’t have tools. I don’t have a place to work.
We say: No excuses.
We built a battle robot in a dark room with a single lamp, on an empty stomach, with nothing but fire in our hearts.
Then we built it again, stronger, in a real workshop—because we earned that chance.
If you have a dream, build it.
If you have problems, solve them.if you feel like quitting, push harder.
Because in the end, the only difference between success and failure is the refusal to give up.
And Hell’s Paradise is proof of that.
