Description
Tortuga: A TVC Avionics Board
Hi! I’m Cameron, a 7th‑grader building a Thrust‑Vector‑Controlled (TVC) model rocket from the ground up with a friend. Instead of relying on someone else’s design, I decided to learn PCB design so I could create a custom avionics system tailored to our rocket.
Project Tortuga is a 45 x 95 mm‑wide flight computer featuring:
- Three servo ports for TVC actuation and parachute deployment
- SD card logging
- Orientation and altitude tracking
- LED status indicators
