Integration of Smart Phone with Arduino and their Applications
our idea in this project was to take advantage of the advantages of the smartphone as an alternative to buying expensive electronic sensors, because it includes many sensors as well as the ease of Implementation of applications and interfaces, making it easier for the user to deal with them. As these smart phones do not have the ability to control the devices directly due to the lack of control terminals for that. The idea was based on the integration between the advantages of the smartphone and the Arduino in order to build an integrated system that can be harnessed in many different applications and fields so that an application is built on the smartphone and take advantage of the screen in the interface design and the ease of user interaction with it and the use of sensors such as the geolocation sensor, temperature , accelerometer and motion sensor as well as sending control signals to the Arduino to control the outside world. Through this project, the high cost of providing sensors and electronic parts can be saved due to the acceptable cost of smart phones compared to the sensors and application features it contains.
