The original design was created by Bruce Tomlin in 2005. There is a thread at AtariAge.com in "Atari 7800 cartridge board thread" about the design.

This version and layout was done by me to allow for smd resistors as they are easier to find.

Small games up to 48k need only two components: a 74LS02 on the back side of the board and a ROM big enough to hold the game.

Larger games using bankswitching need a GAL 20V8, GAL 22V10 or some modern replacement chip. And a large ROM to keep the game.

The easiest way to build the pcb is to use sockets for the chips and smd components for resistors and capacitors.

Look at the schematics for which solder bridges you need to make for the chips/games you intend to program.
