Should I get a stencil?

Hi! Ive used Osh to make PCBs for RGB chips I used to make with solder paste and a hot air workstation. Is this project about like that? Should I get a stencil? I have ben making custom Gameboys and I want to add my own rechargeable battery to them. Thanks!
