We have four ICS-43434 microphones connected to an ESP32 on a custom PCB. The distance between each mic is 75 mm. During manufacturing, we've noticed a high failure rate: on many boards, one of the microphones either produces excessive noise or does not respond at all. Out of 10 PCBs assembled, 6 exhibit these issues. We're trying to determine whether this problem is related to our design, assembly process, or just due to component variability. Has anyone experienced something similar or can offer advice on possible root causes?
