Atari 2600 Keyboard (Basic faceplate)

This is a faceplate for the Atari 2600 Keyboard, a recreation of the Atari CX-50 controller with better switches and now you can even get some pretty faceplates for it as well. This reversible faceplate has been designed for used with the Basic Programming cartridge, both the left and right controller shortcuts have been added to them. For the actual keyboard module, as well as other faceplates that are available - check out the other shared projects relating to this project.

In this final version of my "Atari punk Console" we add a simple potentiometer to the CV pin on the second oscillator and a jumper to add it into the 1st oscillator as well. This gives us a very wide frequency range to create tones. in final assembly I used rolled pin headers in place of the timing capacitors to allow for different values. You can season to your own taste.
