It does replace the original DIN-7 connector.It comes with a polymeric fuse (hold 1.25A, trip 2.5A with the intervention time <400ms), TVS diode (clamping voltage <5.6V) and noise filter for complete protection and safeguard of your motherboard.Able to provide up to 5V / 3A (15W) thru the USB type C cable.The stock PSU from Atari was 5V / 1.5A (7.5W) but hadn't any Over Current, Over Voltage, or Short Circuit protection.BOM list in the attachment.
