I wanted to make a voice assistant box, similar to Amazon Alexa or Google Home, but I dont want to use any cloud services, and I dont want all of my recordings ending up in some companies datacenter, so I designed this voice assistant using ESPHome, to use a microphone and power amplifier to drive a small 3W speaker. for more information, visit my Github: https://github.com/deftones064/atomic-vu-assistant
