MC8P | Standalone Open-source MIDI Controller
this is an open-source, customizable, high-performance MIDI controller built around the powerful Teensy 4.0, designed for live electronic performers who want precision and flexibility. i designed the MC8P out of necessity for live performances with the teenage engineering OP-XY. i felt the menu diving to make adjustments for transitions etc. clunky and designed this as a companion. each potentiometer can send up to 10 MIDI CC messages at once meaning you can control the filters for all of the channels on the OP-XY at once. there is room for expansion and firmware version 2.0 has just been released on the Github. there are new MIDI configuration features and the UI has been improved. the quality of the PCB I received was great and the matte black finish looked phenomenal for the design.
