I ordered this CNC milled aluminum part (6061, bead blasted and anodized) four times, providing only a part file without detailed drawings. Overall, I’m very satisfied with both the manufacturing quality and the lead time. Production and delivery were quick, about 20 days from order to arrival. All four parts are consistent and generally within the expected tolerances for ISO 2768-1 (no specific tolerance class was defined in the order). One feature stands out slightly: a pocket with a nominal depth of 10 mm measures around 10.3 mm on the finished part. This is slightly outside typical ISO 2768-m (medium) general tolerances, although given that only a model was provided and no critical tolerances were specified, this is understandable and does not affect functionality in my case. There is also a minor cosmetic imperfection on one flat surface. It looks like a small blemish that may have been manually reworked, resulting in a slightly softened edge where a sharp contour was expected. This is very minor and purely visual. The anodized finish looks good overall the color is consistent and the surface has a uniform appearance. The bead blasting does a good job, although some faint underlying machining marks are still visible upon close inspection. One technical observation: the through holes ended up slightly on the plus side after anodizing. Nominal 5 mm holes measured approximately 5.05 to 5.1 mm, which is in line with expectations. Overall, I’m happy with the quality, consistency, and turnaround time!
