Hey guys! I'm making a digital power logger and I was wondering if I should add a linear regulator after a switch-mode converter to make the signal less noisy and more stable or should I stick to just smoothing the voltage with a cap. Because the project runs on a 18650 and efficiency matters.
As far now, the highest voltage I ever seen a boost converter converting is 90V. What stops a boost converter from generating thousand or million of volts?
