L1 filter replacement for Commodore C64 BN/E 250469

The original L1 line filter for the 250469 boards, possibly a Tokin D-08C2, is out of production. This adapter board lets you use the modern Laird CM4545Z131B-10 as a replacement.

Wouldn't it be nice if your fancy old breadbin-styled Commodore 64 computer could tell you more about what it is doing? Well, now you can have the power LED change to green when it is performing I/O operations (IRQ-line is being used). Amazing stuff, it really needs to be seen to believed so get yours now! Not really necessary though, it is however a fun modification to do with just a handful of parts!Check out the github-repository for BOM and instructions.

This project allows to replace the original C64C (new model) Kernal ROM, with 4 different (special or customized) Kernals selectable by the Restore Key, using just one 64Kb memory chip. No external switches are needed. Just extract the original Kernal (by desoldering or removing it, if it is provided with a socket) and insert this Adapter 4xSwitcher. Connect RESTORE and RESET signal to the MB and you're done !
