Atari 800 side panel for Sophia 2 with HDMI, audio, button

This side plate allows you to mount a PCB with HDMI, audio and a switch inside your Atari 800, it is the neatest way to get HDMI out of the machine without damaging the original side panel. The PCB just snaps in and connects to the Sophia 2 with the original cable.Of course you need to modify the power supply a little bit, moving some components and removing the RF modulator and channel switch - but it is pretty hard to find a display that uses these in 2024... and you can always put the machine...

If you have a Sophia 2 in your 8-bit Atari then you may prefer HDMI to DVI. This board does that, replacing the DVI board that is supplied with the Sophia 2.
