What is a QuinLED-Dig-Uno?
The QuinLED-Dig-Uno is a controller board suited for Clocked (Data and Clock pin) and Clockless 5v or 12v Digital LED strips with various chips such as the ws2812b (Neopixel), APA102/SK9822 (Dotstar) or sk6822 LED chips.
Further the QuinLED-Dig-Uno has been tested with many different firmware such as WLED and ESPhome (Both natively compatible with Home Assistant), ESPpixelstick (E1.31), Adafruit NeoPixelbus and FastLED.
Especially using WLED firmware makes the QuinLED-Dig-Uno into a fully autonomous solution with Phone app to control everything right from your smartphone!
The board adds some features above a simple breadboard and DuPont cable setup such as:
- Reverse polarity input & output protection
- Onboard car style fuse for extra safety
- Run your power through the board and fuse (Selling here is the 2oz board and rated up to 25Amps)
- Onboard level-shifter to drive data signal at 5v
- Onboard capacitors to limit in-rush current and provide stable power for quick changing effects and the ESP module
- 4x GPIO available using pin headers (Including Relay-Control and Infra Red)
