Hello, i´m tomás, i´m from Argentina and i really like the Nintendo WII. For about 3 months now i had this idea to watercool a wii to research how will it affect temperatures and performance and maybe see if you can use it to run other software than the wii games. i´ve searched for other people doing the same thing but i found nothing that worked so i started designing my own custom water block for the wii. it's based off the original heatsink and it's made by 2 parts, the aluminium bottom and the acrylic top. these parts are held together by 12 2mm screws and held to the motherboard by 4 1.6mm screws. to install it you´ll have to remove a plastic cover that goes over the heatsink, reallocate the antenna and you'll need to make a 50mm x 66mm hole on the metal casing and the outside plastic cover. its made to fit a custom water cooling loop OR a modified ALL IN ONE watercooling unit.
