Tail Cone Closure

This part was an aerodynamic tail cone rear closure for high-power rocket motor cases, intended to reduce base drag for high-performance flights. The part arrived on-time and safely packed, and final dimensions and surface finish were of good quality for the intended purpose. However, the threads (which attach the part to the case) had to be machined in a roughly equivalent metric size, instead of a non-standard imperial size, and caused the part to not fit and function as intended. If the threads were able to be cut in the right size, the part would have functioned perfectly, and other aspects were fine. However, the threads were not fully cut up to a parted section above, so that may have also impaired fit, but I cannot tell as-is.
