PITtance Pump / PC Audio Mixer

This device takes the signal from the 8253 Programmable Interval Timer inside a computer and upto four analog stereo sources, then mixes it down to either a single analog stereo output or a single internal mono output, all while using minimal components. This makes it possible to hear sound effects from games using the PIT alongside any other sound source, such as AdLib music, internal/external CD-ROM or external sound module, on a single set of desktop speakers. It is also useful when recording footage on another computer. It can also facilitate input and output using the AC97 headers on newer chassis, allowing connection to these from sound devices which predate the standard's existence. As per usual, PCBWay were quick to fulfil the order of the PCBs for this project, equally quick to ship them out and the quality is very good. I have no doubts that I will continue to use PCBWay's services for future PCB projects.
