KBD301_TERMINAL

This is a USB-C device that emulates the KBD-301 keyboard for the AT&T 6300 PC (aka Olivetti M24). The device plugs into a modern PC on one end and into the AT&T 6300 DB9 connector on the other end. Using a terminal program on the PC you can send keyboard characters to the AT&T 6300. The connection is optically isolated to protect your new PC from any faults in the older equipment you are plugging into (or the other way around). The BOM (including the PCB) is roughly $21 in low volumes, or $11 in high volumes. This is significantly cheaper than buying a KBD-301 from a third party on eBay. The BOM is designed to use all through hole parts, making it accessible to hobbyists that want to build their own. Ordering from PCB Way was very easy and fast.
