Helicoil Test Block - Aluminum

This part is used to develop and test installation techniques for helicoil threaded inserts. We need to verify our process is good before installing helicoils in application parts. This gives us a bunch of sizes to test. The overall machining was very nicely done. Both surfaces were machined to a clean flat surface, all holes were positioned correctly, and engraving was very clear. Running a helicoil 2B tap through the part did take off some material, so I think the threads were probably thread milled and perhaps a little undersized. Will run some more tests to verify. Overall very happy with this part.
