GFX Prototype

Always a pleasure working with the staff at PCBWay. Very helpful with an attention to detail and correctness. They tend to catch issues before I do. I received the 20 pieces of the 4-Layer PCB on-time and the quality was excellent. No issues with this order. I do want to provide some constructive feedback. There were 3 additional PCBs received with this order, 23 total and the order was for 20. I simply thought that there were extras in the mfg run and graciously accepted them. However, upon detailed inspection, I realized that 3 of the 23 PCBs were in fact rejects with small scrapes across the PCB and open traces. Unfortunately, these PCB rejects were not identified to me by PCBWay and unless one inspected carefully, they could have been used for assembly, which would have wasted time and components. Luckily, they were at or near the bottom of the PCB stack and were not the first selected for assembly. It was only after several PCB assemblies that I realized there were rejected PCBs in the kit. While additional PCBs (even rejects) are beneficial, it would be better if any rejected PCBs provided were clearly identified as such. Otherwise, it's better (and safer) to not include them in the delivery. Thank you, Brad Barnicoat
