Custom PCB for a research project - PCB Production

Everything went great! The quality and the tolerances of the PCB were spot on. I was a bit worried that the perimeter of the board, which is only 0,2mm away from the 3D-printed outer shell was too tight / that it would not fit, but it fits like a glove, just perfectly! The only issue I had - which isn't really an issue with the part itself - is that I had to get a minimum of 5 pieces. I would have been perfectly willing to pay far more per piece if this meant I could only get two. I don't need five, so at least three of them are just trash now because I won't ever need them. I think that's a bit of a shame. I get it, production is not really sensible for such small orders, but still, I think it's a shame.
