Hi there,
I’ve seen there are adaptions of the “Alice” microphone circuit to various PCB formats – really great work!
I’m wondering: would it be possible to fit the Alice circuit onto a very compact PCB, approximately 16mm in diameter (to fit inside an XLR barrel) and around 60mm in length?
The idea would be to build a small inline preamp that could be soldered directly to a 3-pin XLR connector, ideally for use with electret capsules for small microphones.
Do you think such a size reduction is feasible, or would the circuit require major compromises?
Thanks in advance for any insights!
