PCBWay PCB Coaster SMT Footprint Reference Guide
What is it?
A PCB coaster designed with commonly used SMT (Surface Mount Technology) footprints. It has a total of 135 different footprints.
Why did you make it?
I made it to get familiar with SMT components. I found I use it a lot when ordering parts, I can visually see the footprint on a PCB. I've included a connector pitch size indicator, this saved me many times from ordering the wrong connector and thought it adds more functionality. On the back I've added a 1mm size grid to quickly measure parts.
What makes it special?
The PCB ruler does not have the parts I commonly use or run into daily. I didn't want to make another PCB ruler, since there are so many out there already, so I settled on a PCB coaster. This way it will always be where you need it, under your coffee mug.
