siCon v4
siCon is a signal conditioning unit designed to work alongside a vehicle's ECM to help prevent wheel slippage during power take-off. It monitors wheel speed by comparing signals from inductive speed sensors on both driven and free wheels, and actively scales down the throttle signal sent to the ECM when slippage is detected. In addition to real-time control, siCon supports data acquisition via USB and SD card, and integrates with the vehicle’s CAN bus to log engine activity and record anomalies. This makes it a powerful companion for both control and diagnostics in rugged vehicle environments. All of this using a 40Mhz clocked Microchip 8bit PIC18. Built by stubborn engineers, for stubborn machines.
