Diffuse Optical Tomography Test Board
This is a simple test board for evaluating the performance of a diffuse optical tomography imaging chip. The pictures below show the full circuit board, as well closeups of the chip wire bonded directly onto the PCB. Wire bonding directly to the PCB requires an ENEPIG surface finish. I've had problems with other PCB vendors because their ENEPIG surface finish is low quality and cannot be wire bonded. I have never had this problem with PCBWay. Their ENEPIG surface finish bonds perfectly every time, and PCBWay has become my go-to PCB vendor for this reason.
