HC-06 Bluetooth Wireless Serial communication module Product Features:

The core module is HC-06 and export interface include VCC, GND, TXD, RXD. LED status output pin is reserved. Microcontroller can determine whether Bluetooth been connected by the status of this pin. The KEY pin is invalid to slave machines.
Led instruct the Bluetooth connection status. Flashing means there is no Bluetooth connection and light means Bluetooth has been connected and open the port.
The bottom plate is 3.3V LDO, the input voltage is 3.6 ~ 6V.If unpaired, the current is about 30mA, after paired,the current is about 10mA, the input voltage is prohibited more than 7V!
Interface electrical level is 3.3V, it can connect to a variety of Microcontroller directly (51, AVR, PIC, ARM, MSP430, etc.), it can also connect to 5V microcontroller directly ,it don’t need MAX232 and also can’t go through MAX232!
The effective distance is 10 meters in open space , more than 10 meters is also possible.
After match it used as full-duplex serial port and don’t need to understand any Bluetooth protocol. But only supports 8-bit data, 1 stop bit, no parity communication format, which is the most commonly used communication format, does not support other format.
Before Bluetooth been connected,it support the AT command to set the baud rate, name, matching password,the parameters can be saved if power down.After Bluetooth connection,it automatically switches to transparent mode.
Small size (3.57cm * 1.52cm), and have a certain anti-static ability.
TXD: the transmitting end, the normal communication must connect to another device’s RXD.
RXD: the receiving end, the normal communication must connect with another device’s TXD.
