I have a question. The input and output of a single supply amplifier are AC coupled with capacitors.AFAIK the caps just filter the DC component from the signal , they do not magically center the signal around 0V (i.e swings above and below 0V symmetrically) .So with a speaker connected to the amplifier's output and ground the AC signal would still be purely positive, meaning the speaker would only move outwards and max speaker excursion would be cut in half.Isnt this a huge drawback, especially for low frequency audio?
