Design and Development of Automatic quadruped robot and Automated guided vehicle with pick and throw

DESCRIPTION

We are Team Automatons, a Robotics Research and Development team of college students of about 35 members from Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering, Pune. Every year we participate in ABU Robocon, which is the largest Robotic competition held in Asia with over 1500 teams competing with each other.

This year's theme demands us to build an automatic Quadruped Robot, which should be dynamic enough to identify its surroundings and act accordingly.

Our Performance:

2015: Theme:- A badminton playing robot.

Ranked:- 21st in India 

2016:- Theme:- Clean energy recharging

We successfully achieved Wireless charging.

2017: Theme:- The landing Disk.

Ranked:- 16th India.

2018:Theme: Shuttlecock throwing .

Ranked:- 13th in India.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

The Quadruped robot would involve various actuators like DC motors, pneumatic as well as electrical linear actuators. It would be using a micro-processor for handling all its input sensor data, and making desicions corresponding to the data.
