DIY Rebuild of the Tektronix SG505 high precision, low distortion sine wave generator
This is a DIY project to rebuild the Tektronix SG505 high precision very low distortion sine wave generator.
There are two parts to the project, the generator itself, and a dedicated low noise power supply listed as another shared project, available here: https://www.pcbway.com/project/shareproject/Dedicated_Power_Supply_for_the_DIY_rebuild_of_the_Tektronix_SG505_sine_wave_gene_2ccc50bb.html
A small OLED display is used to show the frequency of the generator.
Output frequency 10-100KHz in 5 ranges, output level calibrated at 0dBm, adjustable. -10dB attenuation switch.
The distortion of the sine wave generator:
H2 is 0.000048%.
H3 is 0.00031%
H5 is 0.000025%
H6 is 0.000024%
Total THD is 0.00033%, THD+N is 0.0024%
No mains related hum.
