Multiple part loading software are not suitable for this cartridge.64K-CUPCAKE-CART can also work as a generic 16KB C64 game cartridge.64K-CUPCAKE-CART can also work as a 16KB I/O-1 automatic shutdown DELA module. (You can prepare 16KB module roms with "dela eprommer ii" program.)ROM FILE CREATING (via windows pc)Inside the "64K_CUPCAKE_CART.zip" file you will find two files. "SAMPLE.BIN" and "starter64k.bin""SAMPLE.BIN" is a sample ROM file, you can just program it into a w27c512 and begin to enjoy your cartridge."starter64k.bin" is a 513 BYTES code, for transfering data from cartridge to computer memory, and then shut the cartridge off.To prepare a ROM file for 64K-CUPCAKE-CART; first, you need to get a ".PRG" extension C64 program/game, and run it, to see if it is working.Then you need to load your ".PRG" extension program from a "HEX Editor" software. (you can use free "HxD Hex Editor") Then sellect and delete first and second bytes of your ".PRG" extension program. (2 bytes from the beginning)(it is usually "01 08")"Sellect all" and "copy" it.Then load "starter64k.bin"" file from the "Hex Editor"."Paste" the coppied data after last Byte of starter64k, (line 200) after (FF).
