I often find myself digging into circuit boards taking components off that I need or like.
But always wonder what these "scrap" boards once were and if I am tearing apart a board that is useful in some way.
I see what appears to be serial numbers on most boards. Would it be possible to look up these numbers on the U.S. Patterns web sight and figure out what these boards once were and maybe spare a few before they stealing components off of them ?
