I'm playing with a 6AR6 design right now running at 400V B+, and am worried about damaging the 300v max input triodes. The operating point is closer to 150, but ofc they will be exposed to the full B+ during startup before they reach full emission. I see on some datasheets for them, they're rated for 600v peaks as a sweep oscillator, but that's for shorter times than a ten second warmup. Is this safe?
