Sun Chemical will show its extensive range of inks for the printed circuit board industry including a new product, at Productronica from 12-15 November 2013 at Messe Munchen on Stand 540, Hall B1. At Productronica, Sun Chemical will present its new ImageFlex ink for the manufacture of flexible printed circuits (FPCB). ImageFlex offers improved flexibility, is halogen free and has excellent adhesion properties for all commonly used substrates. It also has a good colour range and can be applied by both screen print and spray coating methods. The new ImageFlex flexible soldermask for FPCB producers is a further addition to its existing range of inks which includes soldermask for rigid PCB circuit board, etch/plating resists, legend/marking inks and conductive ink products.

Sun Chemical offers its customers a wide range of products for the printed circuit board (PCB circuit board) industry and is the number one supplier in Europe of photo-image soldermask products which meet and exceed many major OEM specifications, especially in the automotive industry.

As well as its new products, Sun Chemical will also showcase its Imagecure range of products which are approved globally by many major OEMs, most notably for the automotive industry. All of Sun Chemicals products for the PCB industry are compliant with REACH, RoHS and WEEE legislation. Tony Searle, Business Manager, pcb circuit board, Sun Chemical, comments: We have a number of solutions for the printed circuit board industry and were looking forward to showing these products once again at Productronica. The last event in 2011 attracted over 38,000 high quality visitors from over 90 countries, therefore it is an important platform for us to showcase our range as well and reinforce our standing as a major ink partner in the industry.

Pcb circuit board stator technology for wind power generators Boulder Wind Power (BWP) has announced that the latest test results of its patented printed circuit board (Pcb circuit board) stator technology prove a clear advantage in insulation strength and durability as compared with the insulation in traditional wind power generators.

In addition to better performance, the reduced weight and modular design of a Pcb circuit board stator significantly lowers the expected operations and maintenance costs for a BWP generator while driving increased energy production. Since its founding in 2009, Boulder Wind Power has made significant improvements to advance PCB technology for use in demanding wind power applications. Leveraging new techniques in the manufacturing process has resulted in increased copper coil density in the PCB and increased system performance.

In addition, BWP has invested over US$ 1 million to bring testing capabilities to its Louisville, Colorado headquarters where engineers are testing the PCB stators to measure performance under extreme electrical and mechanical loads - all with the goal of ensuring a 25-year lifetime for the Pcb circuit board stators in the harshest operating conditions.
